Welcome to November. This will be my shortest journal entry ever because for the month of October, I had the greatest accomplishment of my life. There is nothing else I can write next to this accomplishment that would compare. In October 2015 - specifically on October 20th 2015 - I became a mommy. I loved this baby before she was even formed, and I loved her more when she was inside of me, but now that she's here and I can see her, touch her, and feel here, I am literally overwhelmed and Read More
Journal #9: September 2015
Welcome to October. Although, considering that it's already October 13th, perhaps I'm a little late in welcoming you to the new month. Forgive me. My most exciting news for September was the baby news! I confessed on here that Igwe and I are expecting a baby, and most of you Sweet Potatoes were doubting me. Ah! My God will vindicate me soon. We were both hot and sweating, but we both thought it wasn't maintaining the cool temperature because it was so hot Read More
Journal #6: June 2015
Welcome to July. I almost forgot to type a journal for June. The end of June just came too fast, but it's all good. My June consisted of some very hot days. Literally hot! I live on the third floor, and heat does not go well with third floors in the summer. For reasons beyond the heat, I am desperately and eagerly looking forward to Fall. Nice weather, burnt orange and ruby red trees, among many other things. I spent a lot of time thinking about Verastic in June. I have been blogging Read More
