Welcome to November.
This will be my shortest journal entry ever because for the month of October, I had the greatest accomplishment of my life. There is nothing else I can write next to this accomplishment that would compare. In October 2015 – specifically on October 20th 2015 – I became a mommy. I loved this baby before she was even formed, and I loved her more when she was inside of me, but now that she’s here and I can see her, touch her, and feel here, I am literally overwhelmed and overcome with emotions. I don’t understand how I can love someone so little so much. It just doesn’t make sense. I’ll tell you more about my emotions later.
For now, this is my accomplishment for October 2015, and I know for a fact that if I were to put together all my accomplishments in all of my life, they will not come close to this singular event. I can’t believe that God trusts me enough to give me this kind of responsibility.
Thank you, Sweet Potatoes for all your love and support. All your silly comments on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter had me in stitches and laughing through my pain (yes, I know I still owe you my birth story). You people don’t even know the kind of happiness you bring to me. Thank you. God bless you. May God meet you at the point of your needs.
