Welcome to September.
We are now in the “mber” months, which means one thing: Christmas is almost here AND we are about to enter a new year. Didn’t 2015 just start yesterday? Nevertheless, I’m looking forward to all that God has in store for me and my family.
August was interesting for me. I didn’t make the power career moves I hoped to make, nor did I do anything news-worthy (in my opinion). I wish I had the same kind of news I had in July for you: attended another BlogHer conference, got featured on CNN, and registered Verastic as a business. Nope. Nothing on the career side anyway.
In my personal life, I faced some frustrations – nothing that I can talk about here yet. Some of it was work related (not Verastic work), and again, I cannot talk about it here yet. I never really discuss my job on my blog, and even when I was in school, I barely discussed that either. I like the separation between the two lives that I live.
I had a particular week in August that just wasn’t too pretty, and that was also the week I accomplished the least. I was tired and uninspired. Hey, that totally rhymed, and I did not mean for it too. It was the week of August 23rd. I only blogged once that week. I had a bunch of posts in my head, but I never had the time, and when I did have the time, I wanted nothing to do with it. This happens every now and then, but I’d like to believe that I’ve gotten my mojo back. Fingers crossed.
I don’t have much to report about August, but since this is a monthly journal that I have committed to, here I am. But you know what’s bugging me the most right now? It’s the fact that I have been waiting to get the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 forever, and now that it’s finally here, Samsung decided to release two phones at the same time, and they’re both the same size, so now, I’m confused. I need to type a whole venting post on this. Maybe.
Thank you to everyone for reading Verastic. Thank you for your love and support. Thank you for sticking around. Thank you for your comments, emails, and social media mentions. Thank you for it all.
So that was my August. How was yours?

Awww, hopefully September will be better and brighter.
August started of well for me and ended up on a chore. I was sick, exhausted, almost getting depressed, lots of tears. I had to take a break from my blog and some social media. I think I needed it because I’ve gotten my mojo back, like you.

Oh, no. I’m sorry to hear about the illness, Berry. And I totally get what it’s like to lose your mojo. Not pretty, but it happens to everyone. Glad you feel way better 😀
