Diana Nyad, a 64 year old woman (and decorated endurance swimmer) has just completed a record-breaking swim. She swam from Cuba to Florida nonstop, without a shark cage, and it took her 52 hours to complete the journey. Yes, she was swimming for more than two days nonstop.
