Happy Easter, everyone!!! May Jesus Christ’s new beginning also be a new beginning in your life and mine. Amen. Meanwhile, I have no idea what eggs and bunnies have to do with Easter, and I am not even trying to find out cause I ain’t about that life. When I googled images for Easter, every single one of them were of eggs and bunnies. There was even one of eggs with Rob Pattinson in front of it. Don’t ask. I didn’t either.
Anyway, whether you’re going to church today or just chilling with family, I pray you find peace that passeth all understanding. I pray that God in His infinite mercy finds you and holds unto you. I pray that you are renewed – body, mind, spirit, and soul. And above all else, I pray that you (and I) have a renewed love and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sometimes I think about what life would be like if He didn’t die for me. I’d be long dead because I have committed more than enough sins to be never pardoned and to be killed in many different ways. But He has died for me, so I can confidently approach – even on wobbly legs – to beg Him again to forgive me for the sins I have been committing over and over and over.
I did not plan to write this long epistle, honestly. I was just going to say Happy Easter and call it a day. Well, Happy Easter. I love you all more than you know.
In other news, dear Google, it’s Easter Day. We the people – and yes, I speak for everyone – would rather have a picture of Jesus. Yes, it’s great that Cesar Chavez created the National Farm Workers Association, but errr … yeah … so Jesus actually died and woke up again. Could your Cesar do that?
P.S. At first, I thought this was supposed to be Google’s image of Jesus, and I was thinking, nah uh! That’s not what my colored bible says Jesus looks like. He has long hair!
I know … I saw the same Chavez guy and I was like is this Jesus???????
Hahahaha. Glad I’m not alone in this.
Happy Easter to u too Vera! Yes Easter is all about Christ and nothing else. May His promise come alive to u. Have a good one.
Amen!! Thank you, Erene. And I wish you the same, too
