This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Puerto Rico, The All-Star Island. All opinions are 100% mine.
If all you think of when you hear Puerto Rico is Jennifer Lopez, then you haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of possibilities. My philosophy isn’t that a good vacation is needed sometimes; my philosophy is that a great vacation is needed every time (and if possible, you can take a vacation everyday. When Igwe and I made our list of places to go, Puerto Rico was number one. Why? Because it’s right there. As a citizen of the United States, you don’t even need a passport to travel. All you need is your photo ID, and then, welcome to greatness.
I’m already imagining myself there. Yes, I can see it clearly. The harsh Maryland cold is the only thing reminding me that my trip is still just in my head. But a girl can dream. First of all, I have to see these Bioluminiscent Bays. And you know I just recently learned to swim, so going to a place where I can glow like an angel … imagine what that feels and looks like. Call me vain, but I’m thinking about how great I’ll look in those pictures.
Then I’ll visit El Yunque, the only rainforest under US national park service. And I hear that the city of San Juan is an old city with documents dating to as far back as the 1400s. That’s almost 700 years ago. Wow!!! I mean, WOW!!!! I’ve also never gone horseback riding, and Puerto Rico might just be the place where I do it for the first time. I probably don’t need to tell you of how I intend to eat the food? My, oh, my.
Check out this short video of the El Yunque rainforest and tell me that don’t want to move there right now.
El Yunque Rainforest: A TripAdvisor Traveler Review from Puerto Rico: The All-Star Island on Vimeo.
There is so much to do in Puerto Rico. So many places to stay. So much to learn. It will turn any kind of trip into a 5 star experience, and before you know it, you’ll be a celebrity in your circle. You got to go to Puerto Rico and do ALL that? You have to Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico. I mean, you just have to.
Permit me to belabor the point. There are three things you do not have to worry about when traveling to Puerto Rico: Money exchange (because they use dollars, too), Language (because they speak English, too), and Visa (if you’re a US citizen), so traveling will be like just going to another State in the US.
But it gets even better!! You can visit PR with a loved one for free. Yes, absolutely free. How? You win a trip, of course! This trip is worth about $2,000, and here’s what it includes:
1. Airfare
2. 3 night stay (in one room)
3. Food credit

I would love to go to El Yunque Rainforest park, relax at La Monserrate Beach Park and enjoy the wonderful food in Old San Juan.
