… is that she is anything but too pretty. When I first saw read the caption of her being too pretty to work and I saw the picture, first thing I thought was, not with those eyebrows and wrinkles. If I had to guess her age, I could have never thought of 33. Am I the only one who thinks she looks more like 53 than 33? She has more wrinkles and bags under her eyes than my mom does (and she’s actually older than 33. Shocker, I know).

Since her parents are so well off, I don’t think she needed to get a job (if she really didn’t want to work and her parents were obviously willing to take care of her), but what I don’t understand is this too pretty thing.

I think maybe she only did it to gain some publicity because in the world we live in, no publicity is bad publicity, especially since she’s writing a book about being too pretty too work. Fact is, when the book comes out, a lot of us will already know who she is because people like Daily Mail (and me) have written about her.
So what Lil Miss Too-Pretty-To-Work is telling us (and expects us to believe) is that this face we are seeing right now – which seems to have at least three heavy coats of pancake – (also known as foundation by people less exposed) is the reason why too many men are hitting on her and too many women are jealous of her? And is consequently also the reason she has quit her job?
Okay. I’m getting her.
P.S. For all the money that Laura spends, she should be able to afford a make up artist to do her brows. And while she’s at it, a good-fitting bra will be nice, too.

I think she found it easier to live off her parents. Is the £30,000 per month or per annum? Cos if she quit a £30,000 per annum job, it means she was living on about £2,500 per month, and her total expenses now that she’s not working is £5,480 per month which is a bit over double.
I want to assume she’s talking about £30,000 per month… problem is some people will still buy her book and follow in her footsteps cos if she’s talking about leaving gifts on her desk and guys constantly asking her out on dates, then a thousand other women should have quit their jobs by now.
Problem is she’s not even that pretty; she looks way older than her age and her brows, damn girl, get yourself a truthful mirror!
Ms. Dawari, I don’t think it’s per month oh. I think it’s annual. Whatever the case may be, I don’t know why she cannot just say she wants to live off her parents because like I said, she’s not the first person to do it. So kini big deal? And lol at waiting for me. It would have just been easier to say she doesn’t feel like working and wants live off her parents money which they inherited from her granddad so I guess she feels a sense of entitlement to the money. As for her age I honestly thought she was 45! When I was around 26/27 we got an oyinbo female manager in one of the departments who I thought was around 34 and I was being generous ooo she looked way older only to see her personnel file since I worked in HR and had access only to find out that babes was 24 going on 25! Thank God black don’t crack! I have mentioned here before how people always think I am 3-4 years younger than I actually am!

Nawa oh!!! I have never heard of this kind stupidity before. Like you said, she clearly look older than 33 but since when did 33 become too “old” to work and the face that needs anti-aging things become too “pretty” to work? Wonders shall never end is what I can say.
That’s why I said that with all the money she has, she should be investing in some kind of anti aging regimen (and better make up) because this her face is very, very misleading.

Laura Fernee (maiden name Laura Elbury) is a fantasist. She is not 33. She was 40 last Christmas. I know because my sister was at University with her. She married a bloke called Mark and they lived in Ipswich for a while. She is seriously a bizarre-o.
