As much as I loved and supported Barack Obama during both of his campaigns, I did not stick any of the bumper stickers on my car. Not because I was skeptical that he will win, but because (1) I don’t like bumper stickers. I like reading them, as long as they are not on my car and (2) How long am I expected to carry an election bumper sticker? But wait till I tell you about this guy.
Eric Hartsburg and his Romney face tattoo
He’s 30 year old Eric Hartsburg from Indiana, and yes, that is the Romney logo he has tattooed on his face. Permanently tattooed. So how did this happen exactly? He put up an ad offering his forehead to the highest bidder, so to say, on the condition that whatever the buyer wants him to tattoo on his face may not be racist or hateful. So someone with a lot of cash paid him $15,000 for him to put the Romney tattoo on his face.
Now, if he had gone for Obama, he would have at least been walking around with the winner’s logo. But having the loser’s logo tattooed on your face, I don’t know about that. And not only is Romney a loser, but he is also a sore loser. That’s the worst kind.
Side note: I would totally tattoo something of my choosing on a part of my body that I also choose … for $14,999. What’s the big deal? Well, I’m hella scared of any kind of pain, tattoo included, but for $14,999, I will subject myself to said pain. See, it’s even cheaper than this guy’s $15,000 for a stupid logo of a losing presidential hopeful.
