Although I’ll probably not even have the time to do so, I’d like to know that if I were to wake up one morning feeling a little unsafe or unsure about our relationship… and I were to feel compelled to check up on your e-mail account, I would have the access to do so.

truth be told, the day my man gave me his ATM card with the PIN cos he couldn't go out,my trust in him more like quadrupled.(He had given me his yahoo mailbox password b4 then)
Then we got married and right now,i have all his passwords,including facebook and he has mine.
i guess maybe it's because we are married(infact,i don't even rem d PINS and have to ask him again each time)

well Vera, I'm not sure about the boyfriend/girlfriend stage, but my hubby and I definitely have each other's passwords and PINS for EVERYTHING…I think it's another level of trust, plus we can help each other check certain things if one party is without internet access…
actually my bf and i have each others passwords..for everything, atm, facebooks, yahoo, gmail, laptops, phones…funny if i forget i always know he will remember…i store my PUK on his fone and he stores his on mine in case we lock our fone mistakenly…
we are going on 5yrs together this january and we've never been stronger…
Those kind of details will depend on the stage of the relationship i guess…

LWKMD…I totally agree with his treasure, but but at the same time, you might find somethings you really don't want to know. It'd take a high level of trust for you to be totally comfortable and secure, and take his word for it.

If ur significant otehr trusts u enuf, he/she will hand over the passwords without ur asking.
