It’s definitely summer cause the events are pouring in. Every weekend there’s something to attend, and Igwe and I are currently committed to yet another project, so we have to turn down a lot of events. This past weekend was Dayo’s graduation. Dayo is Igwe’s little brother, and he graduated from Morgan State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Before he graduated, he already had a job lined up for him at IBM. So proud of him.
We went for his graduation, and it took so long! The graduation was held outside in their field, and good thing is that weather was perfect. It was 71 degrees. United States Attorney General, Eric Holder was one of the speakers, but I could barely hear what he said. And the choir sang twice! They sounded great, but I just wanted them to start calling names.
Unfortunately, Igwe and I couldn’t stay till the end, so we ran our errand and came back later to Dayo’s house, which is where we took a lot of the pictures.

Igwe and his brothers. Left to right: Olamide (2nd son), Dayo (3rd son), Igwe (1st son), and Toby (4th son and baby of the house)
Congratulations, Dayo!!!
That’s all for my weekend. Church was awesome on Sunday – as usual. How was your weekend?
