I had a long post typed up about Dana Air. But Google Chrome decided to crash. I don’t know what to say at this point to make anything feel better for anyone. I don’t think that there’s anything I can even say.
The picture above is of the Anyene family.

I hear they were all killed in the crash. I hear the entire family was wiped out. I don’t know if this is true. And I wonder if the father/husband was in the plane, too. I don’t know them. I don’t know their story. I have never heard of them. I just weep for them, and all the rest like them.
May their souls rest in perfect peace.
I want to ask God, “But why did you let it happen? You could have stopped it.”

*walks off crying with a heavy heart*** i just can’t….
I know, Funmie.
It’s very sad, my heart has been so heavy since I heard the news. Unfortunately, according to report the whole family died (Husband, Wife, the 4 children and the womans mother), they were my cousins friend. It’s a tragedy and people need to be held accountable for all the lives lost. The Nigerian government and people need to care more about it’s citizens.
Goodness!! It’s even worse than I thought. That’s a whole family. Oh, my God. I definitely agree with you, people should be held accountable. It won’t bring the lives back, but there better be a big fat compensation for the family members.
REally sad chain of events… Actually heard she’d travelled with the kids to visit the husband in Abuja and was on her way back to Lagos when she boarded the ill-fated Dana flight.
The husband must be a complete mess.
All I can pray for is strength for him and all others affected to hold on…..somehow! And for them to draw inspriration from an excerpt from the programme book of the memorial service for late Pastor

Lola,
The worst thing about death is that it’s final. Hmmm.

Daveedoff,
I don’t even want to imagine what they went through in the last moments of their lives, or what their family members and friends are going through right now. Oh, my God.
