Steve Jobs is no more. That should be all I have to say. But …
Apple’s co-founder and former CEO, Steve Jobs has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He died earlier today. He was only 56. He suffered from a rare form of pancreatic cancer, called pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. It’s not as aggressive as the other forms of pancreatic cancer, but still, it ultimately led him to his demise.
I did not know Steve Jobs, but I’m deeply saddened by his death. He is was such a great man. The fact that great men like him with impeccable intelligence and more money than they can account for can still drop dead one day for whatever reason is a reminder that we are all mortal, and that at the end of it all, no matter how rich, famous, or loved we are, we will all give in to what I assume are the cold hands of death. I don’t even know why people assume that death’s hands are cold (or that death even has hands at all). The only people who can tell us if they are truly cold and if death indeed truly has hands are — well, dead. So, there goes.
May God continue to keep us all healthy and alive. May Steve Job’s soul rest in perfect peace. And may God Almighty in his infinite mercy give Steve Job’s family, friends, and loved ones (and Apple customers) the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen.

RIP Steve. Yes we may not have met him but we connected with him through his inventions. Genius indeed.
