Pre-Independence Day

I’m currentlyn located @ Sola’s house. Been here since like 1pm. Woulda been home but my uncle decided to transform my house in2 a library because he had to read and the libraries are closed (cause tomorrow is 4th of july – Independence Day). My mother was being unnecessarily anal as usual; she told me not 2 even open a grocery bag because it was too much noise. Afta that, I concluded things would not even work out, so I packed my laptop and relocated 2 Sola’s house – which is why I even have internet access 2 start wit.

Tomorrow is the 4th of July (Independence Day), so there would be lots of fireworks et al. I’m thinking bout going downtown to the Inner Harbor 2 watch some serious fireworks. I’ve been here so long, but I have never been there 4 fireworks. One time we were all supposed 2 go as a family, but my aunt discouraged every1 because “Bin Ladin would bomb the place.” I guess we were all chickens because we agreed with her and stayed home. Needless 2 say, I did not really think the place would be bombed…although I was still scared 2 go sha.

We’re currently watching a Naija movie called “Day of Atonement”, and it’s a really nice movie sha. I mean, it’s not like “Oh-my-God-it-is-so-good!”, but it’s aiight. We first watched “Civil War”, which I have watched soooo many times, but I just keep watching it. It is just tooooo funny. I can’t stop laughing.
