Gotta Have Em’

Every now and then, a girl comes across an item that she just has to have – no matter the cost. It could be a dress. May be a piece of jewelry.  A pair of  shoes.  A house.  Or even a man. I have come across something that I just have to have. I don’t know how or when, but I will have them.

 

 

You see those Kelsi Dagger Linzy Pumps up there? I just have to have them! It was love at first sight when I first spotted these bright red pumps. There’s only one problem: I cannot seem to find them anywhere. They exist in every other color but this bright red patent.

 

In my head, I have worn these shoes so many times to so many places. I have walked into so many events and people have stopped to look gawk at my feet. In my head, I have taken a couple dozen pictures of my feet in these shoes. [Yes, I can be vain like that.] In my head, my feet have gone places in these shoes. In my head, my feet, while dressed in these show-stopping shoes,  have played footsie with a certain someone under the table. Okay, playing footsie only works when you’re bare-footed, but still …

 

Four and half inches of heel, that would put my height at five feet, nine and half inches. It may not make me a giant, but I won’t be a little person either. It costs $119 at Macy’s, but Macy’s doesn’t even have it in the patent red color.  I don’t know how or when I’ll get these shoes, but one way or another, I must get them. I tried to buy them yesterday, but they were nowhere to be found. I’m sincerely believing that I did not look well enough.

 

While we’re on the subject of shoes, I’d like to conveniently remind you that my birthday is coming up in exactly seven days – January fourteenth (14th). What’s that I hear? You want a wish list? Why, sure, I’ll make one!  But you don’t have to wait. If you can get me these shoes, I’ll love you forever and a day.

 

P.S. Get them in size 9.5 or 10 – preferably 10.
