Good News

I woke up at about 6am this morning as I have been doing for the past few days – not because I was eager to see the world, but because my nose was so stuffy, my throat was hurting, and my eyes were itching.

So what’s the good news, you wonder. The first good news is that I went to see a doctor yesterday, and I was prescribed some medications: antibiotics and some eye drop. I took some advil too yesterday to relieve some of the pain in my throat, and I tell you, I was glad I did. I carry advil in my purse everyday, but somehow, it never occured to me to take it to relieve the pain in my throa. I only remember my advil when I have a headache.

The second good news is that Funmi has a sore throat. Yay!!! My next target is Uju. I want her to come down with all my problems too. I want her to suffer like I am. I know you must be thinking I am evil, but trust me, I am as sweet as they come. Why should I suffer alone? When I cook, she [Uju] comes to eat, so why can’t she be sick with me? Wait till I fast for her; you’s be surprised how fast she will fall sick. Amen.

Anyways, so many people left me comments about my latest article, Love & Be Loved on the sites where I posted them and some sent me emails. I have not replied any emails yet, but thank God I am up early, huh? Well, I better start working on those replies right now.
