I really am not usually a music video person, but lately, Igwe has been getting me to watch videos, and I have truly enjoyed some of them. Igwe put this video on a couple of days ago, and I was so moved. I cried my eyes out. It’s Pray For Me by Darey, featuring the Soweto Gospel Choir. I’m shocked that it only has a little over a hundred thousand views. Nigerians, how far?
As a child and as a parent, this video broke my heart. And that should be testament to how good it is. Generally, I enjoy music videos that tell a story, and this one does just that. If you could not hear the words and could only watch the video, you will know the story. I love it. And it doesn’t hurt that both Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva are in it. Yesss! Good job, Darey!
Did you enjoy the video?

I didn’t know when I started crying in class. Had to stop when people started staring at me
Nice one Darey and thanks for sharing Vera

Chizzy, I can’t blame you cause I totally understand. The video is a main tear jerker.

I started out not really feeling the video and wondering at what point I would see what Vera was talking about. I totally teared up when I got to the point where Olu Jacobs went outside to read the letter then stretched up his hands to pray. It’s so moving.
