Reason Number 937206048 To Love Target: Cartwheel!

There are many, many reasons to love Target. But right now, another reason is the Cartwheel app. Just when you thought the Target shopping experience couldn’t get any better, I am here to pleasantly surprise you. So what exactly is this Cartwheel? Well, Cartwheel is yet another way to save yourself some money when you shop at Target.Target-CartwheelBasically, when you go into Cartwheel, you’ll see offers on a variety of items. You can log into Cartwheel with your Target.com account or you can log in with your Facebook account, and you can go in via your desktop, too, but Cartwheel can only be used for in-store purchases. If you have the app on your iPhone or Android, then you can actually just go into the store and use the Cartwheel’s barcode scanner to see if a particular item has a Cartwheel offer on it.One really good thing also about the Cartwheel offers is that you can combine them with other offers, like Target coupons, discounts, sales, Target REDcard and manufacturers coupons. 

Target CartwheelWhen you go into Cartwheel and find an offer that you like, all you have to do is add it to your list and use it when you get to the store. The Cartwheel does have privacy settings on Facebook, so if there’s an item that you want added but don’t want everyone and their dogs to see it, you can always make your list private and voila, you’re in business.

My list currently has only 1 item (and you’re allowed a maximum of 10) There are some things that you should keep in mind about Cartwheel:

1.  Multi-use offers: Unless it is otherwise stated, you will be able to use the offer(s) as many times as you want, until they expire.

2.  Single scan barcode: Each barcode that Cartwheel creates is unique to you and the offers in your list. All you have to do is pull it when it’s time to pay (after using the other coupons/discounts).

3.  Badges: These are a fun and exciting way to earn more spots in your Cartwheel. For every badge that you earn (every spend milestone that you reach: $10, $25,  $50), a new spot opens up (you’re allowed a maximum of 10 items in the Cartwheel). If you are like me, you’ll rack up badges very fast. Now, here comes the fun part: You have a chance to win a $1,000 Target GiftCard®.

    If I won a $1,000 Target gift card, I would spend it on buying groceries for myself and for my friend who is a PhD student married with two kids, and surviving on a monthly budget of the graduate stipend he receives. I would also spend it on purchasing some canned foods to donate to ACCESS, a shelter for survivors of domestic abuse located in Ames,Iowa and to buy some plants to deliver to the Assisted Living home located next to my home, so the residents of the home can receive a gift for Valentine’s day.

    If I won the $1000 Target Gift Card I would use it to but groceries for myself and my family given that I am a college student. I would also purchase school supplies for myself and my little sister.

    If I won I would use the $1000 Target gift card to buy groceries for my family and then take the money I saved and put it into a summer vacation fund for my husband, myself and our three kids!

    Clothes, housewares, toys, shelving unit, and who knows…I have a lot of things I could get there.

    we are updating. I would get clothes for my husband and I.
    I would get dog and cat food for the no kill animal shelter in Marion,Indiana

    I would start with buying my girls some new clothes 🙂 Then I think I’d get a game system for the family. For me, I’d have to stop by the deli for some sushi 🙂

    If I won i’d spend it on new towels, shower curtains and such to organize our bathrooms… new bedding and some decor for our house. As well as clothes for my toddlers, and diapers!

    I have not splurged lately so I would buy towels, washcloths, clothes, shower curtains, rugs, linens, clothes for my kids and groceries. I would not know what to do with myself being able to spend that kind of money in my favorite place but I would manage 😉
