How To Manage Your Weight Deliciously

I know, I know, weight management and delicious don’t usually appear in the same sentence, but trust me, they can. Sometimes, the words ‘weight management’ send shivers down our spine because what is that all about anyway? I don’t know about you, but for me, I just want to eat and enjoy the food without having a mental fight about how many calories the food is and how long it will take me to walk it off.

A while ago, I told you about the strawberry cheesecake bars from FiberOne, but I did not tell you about the salted caramel cheesecake bar, and I had a good reason: you cannot handle all the deliciousness in one post! Just like the strawberry cheesecake, this, too, has only 150 calories and gives you 20% of your daily fiber. It wouldn’t be a Fiber One snack if it was not generous with fiber.

I love caramel and I am dangerously obsessed with cheesecakes, so by virtue of that, I love the caramel cheesecake. But honestly, between the two cheesecakes, the strawberry one is still a winner for me. Cheesecake and strawberry just seem to be a match made in food and belly heaven. Let’s talk about the cinnamon coffee cake. I can’t say that I don’t like cinnamon per se, but I usually won’t buy cinnamon flavored things – although I never fail to use it when I’m making french toast. I just wouldn’t buy like cinnamon-flavored gum or cinnamon-flavored toothpaste or a cinnamon-flavored beverage. I’m sure you get it by now.

Yet, surprisingly so, I actually like this cinnamon coffee cake. And it tastes even better with a cup of coffee. I felt all modern and serious and professional when I sat by the dining table and had one with a cup of coffee. For a second, I felt like a grown up (cause you know, I’m still in denial about being a grown up). The cinnamon coffee cake has only 90 calories, and yes, also 20% of your daily fiber value.

I mentioned this in the first Fiber One post, but I’m saying it again because it is true: I just love how these snacks are packed individually for one serving. It’s usually hard to open a snack and only eat what is recommended as one serving, but when it’s individually wrapped, it makes it so much easier. The whole point of these snacks isn’t to not snack at all, but to go on and have one, to have it deliciously, and to be able to maintain and manage your weight while at it. There’s no reason any of these have to be mutually exclusive.
