And you’re wondering what that means? Well, read on!The Bible says that there is more blessing in giving than there is in receiving, and I couldn’t agree more. There’s a wonderful, wonderful feeling that comes with knowing that someone is smiling because of what you have given them. It’s almost selfish to have this wonderful feeling. It’s almost as if you had an ulterior motive for giving the gift. It’s the same feeling I get every single time I give Igwe a gift. I remember one birthday when I was so broke. I mean, so, so, so broke.I didn’t know what to give him, but I wanted to give him something for sure.
I couldn’t afford to buy him one big gift, so I bought him several little gifts. Don’t laugh when you read what I got him. I got him three pairs of brand name briefs (don’t remember the name now), a belt, and some tank tops. I got these for him because a little while back, he had mentioned needing to buy these. I did not just present them to him in a gift bag. No, no, where’s the drama in that?
Instead I hid them in multiple places around the house, and I used index cards to create clues and instructions on where to go for the next gift. Some of the places he had to go to were the mail box, the trunk of his car, inside the washer, inside the laundry basket, under the bed, under the couch… it went on and on. Whenever he arrived at the destination, there’d be another index card waiting for him. Although these were not the “ideal” romantic gifts for a significant other, it was (still is) very touching to know how much he loved his gifts.
He guarded his belt jealously and will not even let me wear it (I usually wear his belts). He waited a long time to wear the briefs because they were special, and he still hasn’t worn all the tank tops. He’s bought new tank tops since the ones I got him, but he’d rather wear the ones he bought and save the ones I got him. He’s waiting for a special day to “launch” one of them. It’s not much, but he appreciates it a lot, and I appreciate him for appreciating them.
Same goes for this Bevel shaving system. When I got the opportunity to participate in this campaign, I was so excited at the prospect of giving him this very, very beautiful shaving system. I have told you before that Igwe doesn’t have a lot of hair (although he doesn’t seem to know this), as he’s always plugging his clipper in the bathroom and shaving God-knows-what.

You need to check Bevel out for yourself and see the awesomeness that is brewing. Gentlemen, be kind to your face and start using Bevel to shave your face. Bevel… A new word there. At least, to me. Anyway, you meantioned Black- and Latino- Americans. What about the full AFRICANS?
Africans are considered as part of the African Americans.
That bevel looks so sleek!
Yes, it does! Makes me want to grow some facial hair, just so I can use it.
100% unrelated to the post, but I have that same top!!! It’s been a year and I still haven’t worn it :p
Girl …. I have had it for just as long too, if not longer – and this was the first time I wore it.
Now you’re making videos, you guys should do the husband/wife tag!
Hmmmm. Sounds interesting! I’d have to look for the video, so I can see the questions. Maybe we will.
Yes, please. Husband/wife tag!
Lol. I don’t even know what the questions are. I’ll look around for them, I guess.
Ah ah, Vera! Husband/wife tag? When haf you marry without telling us?
Lol. Well, Vernon … if I answer this question honestly, you wouldn’t be able to handle the truth.
Your video was super cute! My husband loved the kit too!
Aww. Thank you, Erin! The kit is simply amazing.
