My cousin, Arinze (AKA ) is getting married tomorrow in Tampa, Florida, so off I go. It’s not my first time in Florida, but it’s my first time in Tampa. It literally took me like ten hours to pack yesterday, and I’m only going for two nights. It’s not that I’m packing so much really, but that I was working on so little stamina. I was sleep deprived and exhausted. In fact, when I went to the nail salon to get my nails done, I was sleeping while the lady was working. I apologized to her, but I had to be honest. I told her that I would not be able to keep my eye open. Even while she waxed my eyebrows, I still slept through it.
I bought my ticket through Southwest, and it was only yesterday that I realized that it was an airTran flight AND they do not practice the free checked bag policy that Southwest does, meaning that I had to pay $25 to check in a bag and $25 again on my way back. Helllll no!!!
Clothes, shoes, and girl stuff
So I had to put to use my handy dandy travel size bottles. In those bottles, I have my bath wash, my lotion, my face wash, my homemade hair and scalp moisturizer, and even my little perfume thingy. Oh, yeah! The rest of the stuff are my day face lotion, my night cream, mascara, foundation, makeup brushes, lip stick … I can’t mention everything.
I’m super duper excited about Arinze’s wedding because it’s going to be like Chisom’s wedding where it felt like a mini reunion. There will be members of my family and friends, some of whom I have not seen for years. And of course, Chisom and his wife will be there, too. I already have my flats for the dancing time. No pair of shoes, no matter how pretty will hold me back.
Gotta go now. I’m still tired.
P.S. I only own one night wear (the pink and navy blue polka dots). And it’s not even a complete night wear. It’s just the pants; the top is missing. Who needs to wear clothes to bed? Booooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg.
P.P.S. Those poor black shoes have suffered. I wear them everywhere. I think I need a new pair.
And just when I’m no longer in Tampa…
Sucks! See, this is what happens when people relocate. They miss the visitation. Yes, Vera’s visitation. Hahaha.

chic…. if you purchased your ticket through southwest but it’s an airtran flight, you still get the SW perks… you would still get the free luggage allowance…just FYI… done it several times…

Oh, wow. I did not know that! This was my first time using Air Tran. So when I checked their website and saw that they charge for luggage, I decided not to check in my luggage. In hindsight, I’m glad I didn’t check in my luggage cause I ended up missing my flight for the darndest reason. Blog about it later.
