A Love Letter to My Reebok Skyscapes & a Giveaway


Dear Reebok Skyscape,
Reebok Skyscape 3 In how many ways can I love thee? When the beautiful people at BlogHer asked if I wanted to get to know you and write about you, I obliged – mostly because I was excited at the prospect of wearing new shoes and taking pictures in them. I didn’t know much about you, other than you being pretty. Then you came in the mail, and then I put you on — and all of a sudden the pendulum swung.
I was no longer wondering how to these shoes, I was wondering why I hadn’t gotten to wear these shoes earlier. Where have you been all my life? You are beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And the beauty I see on the outside is nothing compared to the beauty on the inside. Walking on you feels like walking on foam. You are so light on my feet that while I walked around with you in the mall, I looked down on my feet to make sure you were still there. You weigh only 5 ounces! What manner of magic is this?

At first, I didn’t know how to wear you, but after I put you on, I did not know how to take you off. I pranced around the mall with you. And when I went to my favorite pretzel shop, they said the pretzel would not be ready till 10 minutes. Normally, I’d go home because who has 10 minutes to wait for a pretzel. But not this time. This time, I happily agreed and took a walk around the mall. It was as if I was floating on air. I love you, Reebok Skyscape, I do. Please never, ever leave me. Ever.

Listen, people, these shoes are ridiculously good. While I wore these shoes in the mall, my mind wandered and I could not help but wonder, “what if heels were like this, too?” Reebok’s tagline for the Skyscape is “So lightweight and comfortable, you’ll forget you have them on.” I don’t see how this could be more apt. I can see myself falling asleep in these shoes. Yes, they are that comfortable. I mean, they weigh 5 ounces for goodness sake!

Need I mention how incredibly stylish these shoes are? Behold, it is indeed possible to be comfortable and stylish at the same time. And all this time, you thought they were mutually exclusive, huh? I’ll make it simple: if you are a lady who enjoys living life on comfortable feet, then the Reebok Skycape is for you. WARNING:  You may never want to take them off.

    I love these shoes!
    I would wear them running errands all over town, picking the kids up at school and then wear them walking at the track or take kids walking at park! They’re great for all that stuff! They’re fashionable yet functional! I need to win this!! Ty for the info and giveaway!

    These shoes would work so well with just about everything in my closet (in no small part because of all the color options — love it!)…hard to say where I *wouldn’t* wear them!
