Carrie Underwood and her $31 million dollar necklace
Nope. Not Carrie Underwood herself. But the necklace is. I completely forgot to blog about this days ago. Carrie Underwood wore this necklace on Sunday to the Grammys. It’s from Jonathan Arndt, and features 381 carat brilliant white diamond in the shapes of oval, round, pear, and marquise.
When asked about it, Carrie said the necklace is “heavy” on her soul. You got that right! It would be heavy on my soul, too. In fact, I don’t know if I can wear that out of the house. Or anywhere. Or at all. I don’t know if I can be found in the same proximity with it. $31, 000, 000???? On a necklace????? That’s N4,650,000,000. *faints*

P.S. I even feel unsafe blogging about a $31,000,000 necklace. Is this legal?

Izzie, I know, it does sound scary to have something that expensive on your neck. Any small thing, you’ll touch your next to make sure that it’s still there.
The necklace was a loan from the jewelers. And security was never more than a few paces away from her the entire evening. No one wants to loose something that expensive, not even Underwood.
