I know, I know, I can’t seem to make up my mind. Let me explain. Remember the other day when I came on here and talked about wanting to just chop all my hair off? Well, I still want to chop it off, but I also want to give it some love. I was all ready to chop it off, but Sweet Potato, Ememobong got into my head and had me thinking …. maybe I should take my time.
But first, I’m going to show my hair some love. A lot of love. And I will start by loving my scalp first. Every time – and I mean every single time – I braid my hair, I get dandruff. I don’t know why, but it always happens. When my hair isn’t braided, my scalp is perfectly fine and free of dandruff, but as soon as the braids go up, dandruff magically appears. And yes, I do moisturize my hair daily while braided. Okay, fine, I moisturize daily most times. Or at least once a week. Look, don’t judge me.
I’ll be starting my scalp-love commitment by using Head & Shoulders to annihilate the dandruff. This disrespect has got to stop! Can you guess the first thing I checked with the Head & Shoulders? That’s right … the smell. I have the Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo, and it smells edible. This Head & Shoulders Green Apple Shampoo is pH balanced and gentle enough for all hair types. It also removes up to 94% of dandruff irritants (works for me!) and helps keep your scalp and hair healthy and flake-free.
At one point in my life, I used to avoid dandruff shampoo because I had heard that it dries your scalp and hair out, but apparently, that’s just a myth. It does not dry your hair out; it does not damage your hair, and it does not fade your color treatment. What it does do really well though is smell yummy. Did I mention that already?
So, yes, while I still want to cut my hair all off and feel the force of the water coming from my shower head to my head, I’m going to first take some time to show my scalp some love. Check out the full line of Head & Shoulders on Amazon and be kind to your scalp too.
