I’ve Been A Bad Blogger (And Vlogger)

Sweet Potatoes!

If you are a regular Sweet Potato, then you’d have probably noticed the embarrassing scarcity of new posts in the past few weeks. Please forgive me. I typically don’t like to come here and give you half-news, unless I really, really have to. So I apologize for the half-news I’m about to deliver to you today, but I just need to explain my absence a bit. 

Half-news = news that says something like, “I’m working on something, but I can’t tell you about it yet …”

The reason why I have not been blogging and vlogging is because I have been desperately trying to finish (or at least get closer to the end of) something I have been working on for a really long time. So, I got so desperate determined to finish it that I basically put everything else on the backburner and said, screw it, nothing else is getting done until this other thing is done. And when I say everything has been on the backburner, I mean EVERYTHING. You should see my hair. It looks so bad, it’s making bad hairs look good. On a sidenote, I’m still thinking of cutting all my hair off. I should stop thinking and just go it. The thing don tire me.

Please be patient with me, Sweet Potatoes. I promise, when I finally tell you what I’ve been doing, you will be so proud of me. I can’t say what it is right now because it’ll be pointless since I am not done yet.  A few times that I did try to blog more, nothing was coming. It was just me and a blank WordPress page, and after staring at it for a while, I decided to respect myself.

Here’s to me coming up with fresh, new, fun content for you. Meanwhile, just take a second to ask God to favor your girl. I need all the prayers I can get right now.

Oh, an update on Ada Verastic’s height costing us money: we I finally picked a car seat and ordered it. It just got installed in my car yesterday. And no, we did not go to the police or fire station. This time, we respected ourselves and Igwe installed it.
