It is with a heavy heart and deepest sorrow that I regret to announce the retirement of Nollywood actor, Ramsey Noah who has been in the business for over twenty years in the business (really?). He has not acted in a while, but he is now retiring to do other things.
According to Ramsey, he will be focusing on a project he started a while ago. He is not leaving the movie scene, however. He is just going to be in a different part of it (behind, instead of in front).
This sounds fishy. I think he’s only quitting because someone finally told him that his British-American-Australian accent is fake. Yup. That’s what happened.
Thank God for small mercies! I doubt that this will be a terrible loss to the industry.

Ramsey is more than an accent Vera. He is deeply talented individual that is Nollywood’s original martinee idol. Dangerous Twins, The Figirine and many others come to mind. He will be sorely missed.
Dee, I agree that he’s talented and more than an accent. But it doesn’t change the fact that he has many inexplicable accents. And also the fact that he has not even acted in so long anyway. It’s not like we’ve been seeing him in movies and then, he suddenly quit. But I do understand that he will be missed — especially by you.
Let’s learn to say nice things about people who have served well. Ramzy will forever be remembered as one of the very best.
We’re saying nice things about them. First of all, I don’t even think he’s quit, unless “quit” now has a new meaning. But Ramsey is currently working on a new film – don’t remember the name right now. That said, he does have an interesting accent.
