… Is that this is a side of him we are not used to. Early Sunday morning, Geraldo decided to tweet his half naked picture and most people who saw the picture had a reaction that looked something like this:

The 70 year old Geraldo tweeted the picture, saying that 70 is the new 50. Let’s be real, the man looks very, very good – even if he is 50. But he’s 70. And he’s Geraldo. One is unsure how to react when he/she sees this picture. It’s Geraldo. Geral-freaking-do! Most of us are not about that life.
When asked what on earth he was thinking, he said, “There I was, 2:30 in the morning on Sunday morning. You know, I do the show Saturday night, I did a great show on black-on-black crime and race relations and the Trayvon Martin fallout and federal charges … and I get home and there’s no one to talk to, everyone’s asleep. And you just sit around, I had a drink and, you know, I had taken that picture Saturday morning and I was looking at it, just going through and I said ‘you know, I gotta tweet this thing. I look pretty good for a 70-year-old.’ And I think because I’m so old people will cut me some slack, they won’t take it too seriously. And I just pushed the trigger.”
Obviously, he thought wrong.
Rivera has since taken the picture down. You know, there are some people who we are just used to seeing so serious, sophisticated … and fully clothed, so anything less will give us a coronary. The lesson here: do not operate Twitter machinery after alcohol consumption.
