The little Obama selfie that was
In the past couple of days, my blog was hijacked by sponsored posts, and I mean that in the best way possible. Love it! And that’s why I’m late in talking about Obama’s epic fail — according to some people who clearly have something stuck up their a-hole. When I first saw the picture of Obama and the Prime Ministers, my first reaction was awww. I thought it was mighty cool to see leaders of the world – literally – doing something as simple and casual as taking a selfie (by the way, selfie is now officially a word in the dictionary.
The picture is of Prime Minister David Cameron (of Britain), President Barack Obama (of US of A), and Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt of Denmark. But all the focus and attention has been on Barack Obama and Helle Thorning-Schmidt. Why? Because she is a woman, and Obama was flirting with her. Like, what else can a man possibly be doing with a woman, if not flirting? And why has barely anything been said about David Cameron flirting with Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
Obama is not a foolish man. He will not be crazy enough to flirt with another woman while at Nelson Mandela’s funeral, with his wife next to him, and with cameras all over the place. What matters most is that I want a selfie with Obama.
P.S. The Danish Prime Minister though … she’s a total hottie.
