My blogging class is finally live. Finally!!!
I have been trying to publish the information for my blogging class forever, but settling on the venue was challenging. I finally found a perfect place! It’s the meeting room of the Country Inn & Suites. But location isn’t the most exciting thing. The most exciting thing for me is the actual class. It’s going to be so much fun and very interactive. I’m really excited; let me tell you more about the class and why I’m teaching it.
When I first started blogging, I and my fellow bloggers were here just to kind of journal our lives. People blogged about all kinds of things: marriage, sex, love, school, Nigeria, work, etc. It was mostly all personal, but ten years later, most of my blogging mates have moved on to “RL” (real life). My blogging mates may have moved on, but blogging hasn’t. In fact, blogging has evolved.
Blogging is now a legit business. It’s still a new business, but it’s definitely here, and it has gone beyond just being a blogger. People no longer start blogs because they want to become bloggers. Now they start blogs for other reasons (like to grow their business). If you have ever paid attention, you will know that there is so much information out there about how to blog, and I’m sure they’re all great, but here’s why I love mine:
1/ It’s live, face-to-face, fun AND interactive. I will be teaching this class exactly how I love to be taught: in a fun, interactive way that becomes a social experience.
2/ I have been blogging for 10 years, so I know exactly what to do and what to avoid, especially for a beginner.
3/ I will not overwhelm you with information because I, myself know how this feels. Have you ever overwhelmed yourself into inaction? Yeah, me, too!
4/ You can ask your questions and get your answers immediately. We’ll have a fun question and answer time.
5/ There is a referral program and you can make money. Can I get a woo hoo?
6/ Have I already mentioned that you will LOVE this class?
