Sweet Potatoes, biko, I am so terribly sorry for not blogging much last week. It was such a busy week for me. I’m currently working on a passion project that I will tell you all about later. Meanwhile, hello labor and delivery story! I recorded this video last week Saturday, then I went to bed and remembered a bunch of things that I forgot to mention, so on Sunday evening, we rerecorded the video. Since that Sunday till now, I have been trying to edit it, but the thing no gree me.
While I was pregnant, I shot some videos of myself (like during my non stress test) and of Ada Verastic moving around in my belly and all that good stuff, and I tried to overlay it on the labor and delivery video, but no luck. Well, I inserted it into the video, but it split the video and then the audio was off. Long story short, I watched countless YouTube videos on how to fix this, but still couldn’t do what I was trying to do. Excuse me, people of Microsoft, you need to make Windows Movie Maker easier! You’re making me seriously consider getting a Macbook. Anyway, the video below. Enjoy.
P.S. I have promised to make more videos, so I hope to learn more about video editing as I move forward.
P.P.S. Please share the video and subscribe!!! Let’s get the video party going.
P.P.P.S. Ada Verastic is lying on the couch, next to me, kicking and crying. I’m trying (and failing) to distract her with Shakiti Bobo. It usually works. Not today though!

The hospital gets paid a lot more for surgeries, and it’s shady business. There is no reason a first time mom with no health issues should be offered an induction or section option, especially since the metrics they use to measure a babys weight in utero are not accurate most of the time. So was the baby as large as they claimed she’d be? For me, they were always off bby 1-1.5 pounds. Thankfully you and baby are well and healthy, that’s what matters at the end of the day.
