Girl Crush: Beyoncé!

I have a huge crush on Beyoncé. Ever since I fell in love with her sometime this year, my love has continued to grow. There is so much that I love about her. I don’t know her personally, of course – in case you haven’t figured that out – but I have judged her to be a certain way, and whether I am right or wrong, these are the reasons why I love her.

1.  She’s a strong woman.

2.  She’s super talented and super private (we don’t know many things about her that she doesn’t want us to know)

3.  She dances to her own music (she’s a trail blazer and a trend setter. My girl! *Denzel Washington voice*)

4.  She’s a wife and a mom (and these days, it’s hard to see a celebrity of her caliber who is still married)

5.  She has no scandals (Yes, she had that one about not being pregnant, but until proven to be true, it’s still as false as a 2 naira bill)

6.  She is a force to reckoned with, always doing the most.

7.  She is a hard worker

8.  She loves being a woman

9.  She advocates for women.

10.  She’s flawless. She woke up like this.

I keep picturing us both in a flawless selfie. She’ll be holding the phone. She’ll put it on her Instagram, and she’ll tag me in it. And I’ll sleep better at night.

This has to be true love.
