You Won’t Believe My YOLO Moment

You know how people have YOLO moments like going scuba diving, white water rafting, zip lining and all that? Yeah, not me. It's not on my to-do YOLO list. Does that mean I will never, ever do them? Not necessarily. I have learned that my mind changes fast. I'm a girl, so I'm allowed.

So I thought and thought about a YOLO moment I wanted to have, but I couldn't think of one. Well, I'd like to travel the world, but that's not something you'd do spontaneously – unless you're Oprah. But Funmie reminded me of a top she bought me months ago, which I told her that I would never, ever wear. I love graphic tees, but I felt like the word, YOLO was one that everyone used for the darndest things. Refusing to wear the top was my way of refusing to succumb to pressure. That is until Otter Pops became involved.

Otter Pops are fun treats made with real fruit juice, so this is music to all mothers' ears. The kids can enjoy their snacks without the fat. Ireti, Funmie's baby sister is always up for taking pictures with me, so when I told her that I would be wearing my YOLO tee and serving Otter Pops, she could not wait to join in. She thought it was pretty darn funny that I wore that tee shirt because she was with us the day I said I would never wear it.  Well, here we are.

Although this may not be considered a YOLO moment, I would absolutely love to do certain things: (1) Take a belly dancing class, (2) Travel to Abu Dhabi, and (3) Learn how to speak Russian again *sigh*
