This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ideal Image. All opinions are 100% mine.
Remember when I put up the post about wanting to get the laser treatment from Ideal Image for my bikini? I bet you thought I was just joking, right? Well, I wasn’t. It’s set up, and I’m doing the darn thing. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I’ve never had a laser treatment before, but I am looking forward to the final result.
There are two things that scare me most: (1) What kind of discomfort will I have? And (2) What side effects will I have? When I visited Ideal Image for a free consultation, I did ask about what kind of side effects to expect, and I was told that I could have some redness (that eventually disappears), so I really shouldn’t be scared, but I still am. It’s unchattered teritory for me.
I’m making myself feel better by remembering that my treatment will be administered by a Registered Nurse or a Nurse Practitioner — and she will be female! One thing is certain: by the time the treatment is over, the staff at Ideal Image would get to “know” me very well. I’m assuming that I’ll be getting 9 treatments, unless told otherwise when I go back. My OB/GYN has not “seen” me that many times.
This is the bed where I will be known and seen. And treated.
I’ve never seen a treated bikini area before, so I’m looking forward to discovering it on my body. The problem now is that I hope I don’t like it too much and decide to do a before and after on the blog. Or maybe I’ll start having celebrities sign autographs on my bikini area. I mean, the possibilities will really become endless.
These are what they use for the treatments. I’m not sure yet exactly how they work, but I’ll be finding out soon! I’m going tomorrow for the treatment. Wish me luck!
