Darling Sisi Yemmie<\/strong><\/a> did the 20 random facts about me<\/em> tag and she tagged me. Who am I to not deliver? I’ve done tags before, but it’s been so long since I last did one. Sisi Yemmie, thank you for the tag, and whatever I write here, know that you asked for it.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> \u00a0I’ve been keeping a big secret from you, Sweet Potatoes. But I have decided that I will tell it before the end of the year. I’m tired of keeping it. No, I will not give hints!<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> \u00a0I’m an undercover rebel. Sometimes, my only reason for refusing to do something is because everyone else is doing it. Exanple: every year, I deliberately wear white after labor day, and I feel good when I do it.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> \u00a0Unlike Sisi Yemmie, I love cold cereal. In fact, I can’t drink warm milk. Yuck! I love my milk very cold, and I love my cold cereal crunchy.<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> \u00a0I’m anal. Things have to be certain ways. Our apartment has become too little for us and there are things that don’t have places. It drives me crazy. I believe there should be a place for everything, and everything should be in its place.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> \u00a0I wear latex gloves for many, many things. For washing dishes, for touching raw meat, for eating chicken wings, for eating fufu and soup, and for applying conditioner on my hair. It’s because I HATE things going under my nails. People laugh at me, but I couldn’t care less.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> \u00a0I have straws everywhere: At home, in my car, and even in my bag. I go to events and then walk back to my car to get a straw because I don’t wanna mess up my lipstick. And because I just like sipping from a straw. I drink water from a straw, too.<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> \u00a0I am an extremely slow cook. If you’re hungry, don’t come to me when I am still cooking. I once took 3 days to make moi moi. Pesin wey hunger dey catch for don die finish.<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> \u00a0I have so many plans and dreams for my future, including television. Some days I’m encouraged, and other days, I’m really, really down. Pray for me oh!!!<\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> \u00a0I love cereal. It’s my any time food. I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, snacks, anything. My current favorite cereal is Frosted Flakes. Yum!!! \u00a0I say “current” cause it might change tomorrow.<\/p>\n

10.<\/strong> \u00a0I may not have any real food in my house, but I will always have milk, yogurt, and cereal. When I poured the glass of milk below to take a picture for the blog, I drank it up before I took the picture. It was unconscious. I did it without thinking. \u00a0I drink so much milk that it has become a reflex action. I had to pour another glass for pictures.<\/p>\n

11.<\/strong> \u00a0I don’t like being under the sun, and I hate it when it’s hot. I don’t understand how people go walking\/running when it’s 90 degrees. 80 sef is too much for me. With how much I hate being under the sun, you’d think I’d melt. I’m looking forward to the cold temperatures.<\/p>\n

12.<\/strong> I love dairy products like milk, milkshake, ice cream, yogurt, frozen yogurt. I’d skip a meal and have a milkshake instead. By the way, I’m lactose intolerant, but no lactose intolerance will keep me away!<\/p>\n

13.<\/strong> \u00a0I have a sweet tooth. Jesus, help me ooo! If it’s sweet (and especially if I can drink it), then I want it! I don’t really have cravings for sweet food (like cookies, candy), but if there are things like soda, juice, etc in the house, I will definitely show them the inside of my belly.<\/p>\n

14.<\/strong> \u00a0I do a lot of mental workouts. In other words, I imagine myself working out, but I don’t actually do it physically. It’s too hard!<\/p>\n

15.<\/strong> \u00a0Suddenly, suddenly, I’m interested in sports. Can you guess who turned me this way? I watch soccer, football, and basketball. I even watch the sports commentaries, and I follow them on Twitter. I don’t recognize this new Vera.<\/p>\n

16.<\/strong> \u00a0I cannot have a conversation with stupid people. And that’s all I have to say about this.<\/p>\n

17.<\/strong> \u00a0I always have imaginary interviews when I’m alone. I imagine that Oprah or Wendy or Ellen is asking me what inspired me to do whatever-it-is-that-brought-me-on-television, and I have this long conversation with them. I even throw in a few jokes. You should hear me talking, you’d swear I’m actually speaking to someone.<\/p>\n

18.<\/strong> \u00a0I get extremely excited about using new products. Like new soap, new lotion, new makeup remover, and oh, my God, new perfume.<\/p>\n

19.<\/strong> \u00a0I’m still a perfume junkie. I have so many future perfumes on my list.<\/p>\n

20.<\/strong> \u00a0I have a lot of celebrity friends in my head, like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Kerry Washington, Beyonce, Jennifer Garner, Angelina Jolie, Wendy Williams, Oprah, and many more.<\/p>\n

21.<\/strong> \u00a0When I’m bored, I start wearing my clothes and shoes and walking around the house. And I paint my face, then clean it right up.<\/p>\n

22.<\/strong> \u00a0I don’t have a high alcohol tolerance. One glass of Moscato will send me to bed.<\/p>\n

23.<\/strong> \u00a0I love getting my nails done. I may not have anything else done, but my nails have to be done. Even if I’m having a bad day, I can look down at my nails and say, well, at least my nails are done. By the way, these are my nails with no extensions. I do have an acrylic overlay to keep nail polish longer.<\/p>\n
