I’ve been meaning to blog about this since I read it last month, then a couple days passed, but according to my calender, it’s been a whole month. No idea how that happened. It’s about the Dear Kate underwears, and if you know anything about me, you know I love underwears. My regular stay-at-home outfit is a t-shirt, an underwear, and no bra. Anyway, Dear Kate did the unthinkable. They recruited real<\/em> women to be the models in their new lookbook for their Ada Collection<\/strong><\/a>. The collection was named for tech pioneer, Ada Lovelace and it features real women in tech.\u00a0I absolutely loved the pictures. Some people love them, and others believe that the pictures are sexist and set women back several years back. I couldn’t care less what people think.<\/p>\n

But you wanna know what pained me most? I thought, my God, my God, where was I when they picked the tech women to pose in their underwears? Why wasn’t I chosen? Is it yansh (booty) they want? I have it. Is it someone who is all too happy to pose in an underwear? That’s me. And women in tech? I am one in more ways than you know. Still, that’s not what pained me most.<\/p>\n

The part that is giving me sleepless nights is how many underwears they have that are called Vera. No kidding!<\/p>\n

Ever since I discovered the Dear Kate<\/strong><\/a> line, I have not slept a wink. They use real women in their lookbooks. They like tech women. They even like bloggers. And they have Vera underwears. No, seriously, they have an entire collection called The Vera Collection<\/strong><\/a>. Yet, this photoshoot has happened without me. How did this happen? Why am I paying someone to be my manager if they can’t get me deals and opportunities like this one? Oh, wait, I don’t have a manager. Still, what does a Vera have to do to wear a Vera underwear? What better way to enter the fashion industry than with no pants while blogging — which by the way is how I usually blog anyway. Like right now.<\/p>\n
