Igwe and I started watching Love & Hip Hop a while ago, and I blogged about it HERE<\/strong><\/a>. We haven’t watched it consecutively since then because for some reason, we just don’t usually remember to watch it. I don’t know how many episodes we’ve missed since the blog post, and I know for sure that we have not seen most episodes because we only just started. I’m saying all these to disclaim that I may not have the best or most information about Mimi and Nikko, so if I am wrong, please correct me in the comments section.<\/p>\n

Mimi and Nikko<\/p><\/div>\n

So we were watching it this past Monday (and I don’t know if this was even the newest episode) and apparently Mimi’s and Nikko’s sex tape was coming out. Rewind. We saw the episode where Mimi was crying about her sex tape with Nikko being leaked<\/em>. The story they gave us was that they made a home sex tape and when Nikko traveled, the tape got stolen from his bag and somehow, the porn industry has a hold on it and said they’ll release it with or without their permission. So they figured they might as well cash in on it.<\/p>\n

While the show was on this Monday, there was a scene where the porn people asked them if there was a third person recording them because the camera moved during the taping, and if this was just a home-made movie with only two of them, then who moved the camera? Nikko said the camera moved because he shook (or broke) the ground. Sure. *one brow up* And that was how I decided to Google the sex tape.<\/p>\n

I came across a clip of it (about 5 minutes long). Truly, truly, the camera literally changes from horizontal to sideways to vertical. \u00a0What kind of ogbanje camera is this? Now, this makes me wonder why they both lied to everyone, myself included. Yes, I’m taking this personal. I know, I know: this is reality TV. But it’s just that while Mimi was crying about being a mom and having this tape out on TV blah blah blah, I actually felt genuinely sorry for her. I thought (still think) it’s stupid to make a sex tape (especially when it’s not with your husband\/wife) because you might break up tomorrow and have a disgruntled ex, but I still felt bad for her. Silly me.<\/p>\n

If you watch the tape, you’ll see that these two suckers actually had someone else recording (or maybe even an entire crew), and I am now convinced that not only did the tape not get stolen, but Mimi was also a part of this whole ponzi scheme. I cannot and will not embed the video on this blog because … well … just because. If Mimi and Nikko wanted to sell a sex tape, then why didn’t they just do that? They’re already on a ratchet TV show, so why would anyone really raise a brow to Mimi and Nikko making a sex tape?<\/p>\n

I am not recommending that you watch the tape, but if you do decide to watch it, please make sure that neither your boss nor your child nor the Holy Spirit is behind you.
