It was always the mom. Mom did this. Mom did that. Even when Kevin Durant &#8211; I love him &#8211; gave his speech for being selected as the MVP, he said his mom was the real MVP. He cried. His mom cried. His fellow teammates cried. The people in the audience cried. I really, really cried.<\/p>\n<p>My mommy is my baby. I protect her like she&#8217;s a little baby, and I have always done so. I am her only child, but right now, she feels like my only child, too. I obsess over taking care of her in a way that I can&#8217;t even express. I obsess over spoiling her rotten and giving her at least a fraction of the love and care that she has given me. She knows I love her and that I have great plans for her, but she has no idea how much I love her or how many things I have planned for her.<\/p>\n<p>On this Mother&#8217;s Day, I&#8217;m wishing my mommy a special happy Mother&#8217;s Day. I love you, mommy, and I will take care of you.
