\"Phaedra<\/a>I meant to put this post up sooner oh, but nothing could get me to touch my laptop yesterday. I was so lazy. The thought of typing on that screen was making me sad. This must be a sign: I need a desktop computer in my life. And I need a new laptop, too. I’m currently typing this post from my friend, Femi’s laptop while he’s prepping to do a photoshoot (not for me). His computer is amazing. The screen is so wide. But I digress.<\/p>\n

So, I was watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/strong><\/em> on Sunday, and there was a continuous conversation<\/del> argument between Phaedra and her husband, Apollo. In the last season, there was some kind of inappropriate conversation (via text messages) going on between Apollo and Kenya. This season, however, Kenya denied everything she had previously said and now claims that nothing inappropriate was going on between them. Sure, Kenya.<\/p>\n

When Phaedra talked about it with Apollo for the nth time during this last episode on Sunday, he said it wasn’t his fault because it was Phaedra who brought her (Kenya) around him. Am I the only one that wanted to slap him upside the head when he sad that? And he also claims that nothing happened, and that Kenya asked to go down on him and he declined. I don’t know whether or not Kenya asked to go down on him (or what happened afterwards), but what I do believe is that none of them is telling the full story.<\/p>\n

So now, I’m wondering, where’s the line to be drawn between a man and his wife’s friend? And keep in mind that in the case of Phaedra and Kenya, they are not even friends. They are actually enemies … for good reason. I think that it is so damn disrespectful for a man to do that. There is no reason why a married man should be chatting with his wife’s friends in that context, and there is especially no reason for a married man to be chatting with his wife’s enemy in that context. Am I over reacting?<\/p>\n

But I have to give credit to Phaedra for the way she handled it — on camera at least. She did not scream and yell and go ballistic on him. Instead she just talked slowly and purposefully about how she was two seconds away from cutting out his tongue, and how she was just going to have to kill him with a steak knife. She said it like she was talking about making steak or fish for dinner. You know, no big deal. I love you, Phaedra.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
