I generally like Oge Okoye. I can’t say she’s the best or worst of anything, but she’s okay to look at. I like her more when she does \u00a0a realistic role – whatever that may be – than when she does the runs girl\/bad girl type of roles. I find those more annoying than entertaining.<\/p>\n

Here she is on a magazine cover in a blanket. I loathe these blankets. We never had one of these blankets in Nigeria because my parents came back with blankets from Russia that were three inches thick and weighed fifteen pounds. Russia was cold. Nigeria, not so much. Luckily for us, however, we lived in Jos, so it wasn’t half as bad.<\/p>\n

But back to Oge, I don’t understand if this is supposed to be sexy. And maybe it’s sexy, and I’m the one with the problem. I think the photographers were going for the naked-wrapped-in-a-sheet-and-too-lazy-to-get-dressed look which often translates to take-me-now or maybe unwrap-me-now. Or maybe that’s just in my own world.<\/p>\n

But this blanket that looks like it’s cut from fabric that is used for a curtain and a chair over, it’s rubbing me the wrong way. I mean, I really, really, really don’t like this blanket. Clearly, I have a personal issue that may not apply to anyone else. But I thought I should complain anyway.<\/p>\n

Please, Oge Okoye, don’t get wrapped in a blanket again. And I don’t mean to be a wet blanket on your\u00a0photo shoot. Pun intended.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
