This time, it’s the divorce of Kordell Stewart and Porsha Stewart, star of Real Housewives of Atlanta. I know, I know. Since I started watching this show<\/strong><\/a> like yesterday, I won’t stop yapping about it. Bear with me.<\/p>\n

So, those that watch the show know that Kordell Stewart is controlling – although he says that he isn’t controlling, but is in control<\/em> (yeah, okay). And we also know that Porsha has been talking about wanting to have a baby and Kordell doesn’t seem to think that she can handle both. She has to pick between having a career or having a baby. How does that even make sense? Pause. Did you notice how relieved he was when Porsha’s pregnancy test came up negative?<\/p>\n

Porsha isn’t my favorite housewife, as some of the things she says and does leave me scratching my head, but she’s a beautiful and\u00a0intelligent<\/del>\u00a0interesting woman, and I’m sure she can handle both. Anyway, word on the web is that Kordell filed for divorce on March 22nd in Fulton County, Georgia, citing that the marriage is “irretrievably\u00a0broken.”<\/em> Oyibo! Na English you speak. But I have to give him props for not citing the usual:\u00a0irreconcilable\u00a0differences.<\/p>\n

What that means basically is that he doesn’t want to do again, and no amount of begging and cajoling will make him to do. He has finished doing. They got married on May 21st 2011, so it’s barely even been two years, but this one has hit the rocks. While I’ve never been on reality\u00a0TV, I really don’t think that a couple’s marriage or relationship should be that public. \u00a0I’m so private that sometimes, Igwe doesn’t even know what’s going on in our relationship. He doesn’t know that he doesn’t know, so that works for us both. I wish them both the best.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Porsha says she is disappointed that her husband filed for divorce, and she only found out about the divorce via the internet. She says that she was committed to their marriage, and that Kordell has misled her into believing that he would work on their marriage. If this is true, then that’s just mean.<\/p>\n

Personally, I think Porsha is too submissive and her husband is too dominating and controlling. Do you think being on television caused their divorce? Or do you think the divorce was inevitable?<\/p>\n
