That is the question that has been on our minds. See, I didn’t think of it, nor did I even notice it, until it went viral online that she did lip sync. Or maybe she didn’t. While no one has ever paid me money to sing at an event – for good reason – I would think that singing at an event like the President’s inauguration would require as much authenticity as possible. That said, an event like the President’s inauguration would also put all kinds of pressure on a person. Even when said person is Beyonce.<\/p>\n

If you listen to the video below which is said to be recorded by a camera that was not plugged to the major mic feed, it sounds like you can hear Beyonce’s voice twice, like maybe she had a back-up singer that sounded just like her. What I deduce from this – after watching several videos of this performance, including the live one – is that she prerecorded the anthem AND she did lip sync, too. Look at it like her being her own back up singer.<\/p>\n

I do not say this as a Beyonce fan because really, I don’t think I am, especially considering what fan<\/em> means. I’m just indifferent. She won’t make or break anything for me. But watch the video and tell me what you think. Maybe you feel differently?<\/p>\n
