This is just strange. And awkward.<\/p><\/div>\n

This is Mary-Kate Olsen and her boyfriend, \u00a0Olivier Sarkozy on an NBA date night. That’s right, her boyfriend. She’s 26. He’s 42. See, it’s not that I am against May-December love, and it’s not that I think the age gap is too much – 16 years – it’s just that at first glance, you’d think he’s her father, no? There are lots of May-December lovers who don’t look so disturbing, for lack of a better word. Like Beyonce and Jay-Z (she’s 12 years younger); Bruce Willis and Emma Heming (she’s 21 years younger); Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (she’s 16 years younger); Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones (she’s 25 years younger) … you get the point.<\/p>\n

I mean ….<\/p><\/div>\n

After having a deep and probing conversation with myself, I have finally figured out why I am so uncomfortable with this:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> \u00a0The Mary-Kate I know is still the little girl from One Of A Kind. When did she turn 26?! Is her twin 26, too?! No wayyyyy!<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> \u00a0This man looks like he can father her one and half times.<\/p>\n

His kids were there too<\/p><\/div>\n

3.<\/strong> \u00a0Wait ah damn minute! His kids were there, too? Tell me she really does not look like one of his kids?<\/p>\n

Will I be going to far for suggesting that Dateline: To Catch A Predator<\/em> should be contacted, just in case? Okay, you’re right. I’ll stop.<\/p>\n
