Random skinny model I found on Google<\/p><\/div>\n

I don’t usually write much about body size, but there’s always a first time. I remember a while ago I was following a sort of drama between a fashion blogger and some of her readers. She was mad because she had put up a picture of herself wearing a nice pencil skirt and a top. A lot of the people that commented mentioned how beautiful she was because she had shed a few pounds, she looked slimmer.<\/p>\n

So what’s the problem, you ask? The problem was that she did not actually lose weight. Oh, by the way, she is a “plus size” fashion blogger. The picture was just one of those pictures where she looked smaller. It happens to everyone, I think. There are some pictures where you look like you got bigger, and in some pictures, you look smaller.<\/p>\n

The thing is, whenever you look like you got smaller, people say things like, “Looking good,”<\/em> or “Keep it up,”<\/em> or “omg, you lost weight. You look hot!”<\/em> One has to wonder, does that mean you don’t look hot without losing weight? Does being smaller always mean looking better? Are there people who possibly look better bigger? Are there people who are naturally skinny or not skinny – no matter what they eat?<\/p>\n

For all the not-so-skinny people who read this blog, if you could, would you do something to alter your size and be smaller? Do you think you’d look a lot better if you were smaller? \u00a0Does a smaller weight and\/or size always equal health? Or is it possible to be not skinny and still healthy? And vice versa – skinny and not healthy?<\/p>\n

With the exception of health, why is everyone preaching a smaller frame? Tell me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
