However, this is a completely different meal &#8211; both in taste and in preparation. For starters, I didn&#8217;t make the recipe up myself. In fact, I had never cooked with Rosemary, so I did not know what to expect. I only likened Rosemary leaves to thyme leaves (they do look alike), so I went in with an open mind, literally.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients I Used:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a02 teaspoons of paprika<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a01 1\/2 (one and half) teaspoons of crushed rosemary leaves<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a01 teaspoon of minced garlic<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a01\/2 (half) teaspoon of coarse ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>5. \u00a02 tablespoons of olive oil<\/p>\n<p>6. \u00a01 tablespoon of salt<\/p>\n<p>7. \u00a08 boneless pieces of chicken thighs (skinless too)<\/p>\n<p>8. \u00a01 1\/2 (one and half) pounds of small red potatoes, cut into cubes. Don&#8217;t peel the skin off. I believe I used six pieces, maybe eight (pictured below)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Red-Skin-Potatoes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3111\" title=\"Red Skin Potatoes\" src=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Red-Skin-Potatoes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Red-Skin-Potatoes.jpg 615w, https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Red-Skin-Potatoes-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Red skin potatoes, washed and cut into cubes.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s extremely easy to prepare. Prepping time is about 15 minutes, and cooking time is about 30 minutes. The taste isn&#8217;t your typical spicy Nigerian food. Compared to Nigerian food, the taste is rather bland. Left to me, it isn&#8217;t something I will cook too often, but Igwe ate five and half pieces out of the eight pieces. He loved it. I ate two pieces.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Cooking:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. Mix the oil and spices together in a large bowl (pictured below)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rosemary-Sauce.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3113\" title=\"Rosemary Sauce\" src=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rosemary-Sauce.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rosemary-Sauce.jpg 615w, https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Rosemary-Sauce-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Rosemary Sauce<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Mix in the potatoes and chicken (I divided the mix in two &#8211; not equally &#8211; one for the chicken, and one for the potatoes.)<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0Arrange the chicken and potatoes in a foil pan (spray the pan with no stick cooking oil (I used a teaspoon of olive oil instead) &#8211; pictured below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Raw-Chicken-and-Potatoes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3114\" title=\"Raw Chicken and Potatoes\" src=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Raw-Chicken-and-Potatoes.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"615\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Raw-Chicken-and-Potatoes.jpg 615w, https:\/\/verastic.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Raw-Chicken-and-Potatoes-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Raw chicken and potatoes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a0Preheat the over to 425 degrees and roast the chicken uncovered for 30 minutes, or until done.<\/p>\n<p>Voila!
