I remember when I was in boarding school in Nigeria and we screamed, “I’m after you with your insert-object-of-choice-here!”<\/em> \u00a0The bad news is that this seems to be going on in Nollywood as husbands and men are being shared. Or is it the wives and women that are being shared?\u00a0The good news, however, is that this news is totally blog worthy. Keep reading for the full gist.<\/p>\n

Meet Ruth Okoro. Model. Actress. Cancer Survivor. Former wife of Philip Ehiagwina. Never heard of him? That’s okay. Not many have. Once upon a time, they used to be husband and wife. She spent 10 years with him. I don’t know if all 10 years were spent being married, but according to Ruth, she invested 1o years in him.<\/p>\n

Meet Ini Edo. Gorgeous woman. Good actress — most times. Now producer. Questionable fashion sense. Famous for her ability to conjure up tears at the snap of the fingers. Loved her in her debut movie. Don’t remember the name now. Surely, you know Ini?<\/p>\n

Meet Uche Jombo. Actress. Writer. Producer. My first Nollywood guest<\/strong><\/a> on the Verastically Speakin’<\/strong><\/a> show. Criticized for being overly dramatic in some of her roles. Know her? (Wait oh! Whose hand is behind Uche in this picture?)<\/em><\/p>\n

Meet Ikechukwu Uche. Born January 5th 1984. Footballer for Granada CF (on loan from Villarreal CF as a striker). You may or may not have heard of him before today. That’s fine.<\/p>\n

So what connects these people? Well, like I said, once upon a time, Ruth Okoro used to be married to Philip Ehiagwina. They eventually got divorced and Philip went on to marry Ini Edo. According to Ruth, she was still married to Philip when he started messing around with Ini Edo, and she (Ruth) contacted Ini to tell her to leave her husband for her. Clearly, that did not work. Ruth and Philip had a messy and public break-up. They had all kinds of nasty things to say about each other.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Fast forward to Uche Jombo and Ikechukwu Uche. They dated for 10 years – what is it with this 10 year thing sef? And at a point, they were even engaged. That is no longer the case as Ikechukwu Uche has found love in the arms of — Ruth Okoro! Yes, the same one that used to be married to Ini Edo’s current husband.<\/p>\n

Trust Nigerian blogs. They (not me oh!) have carried the news and said that Uche Jombo was dumped “unceremoniously.” But how do these people know that she was dumped? What if she dumped him? And even if he dumped her sef, when is being dumped ever ceremonious anyway? Fine, there are times that you do back flips because a certain person has broken up with you; trust me, I know. But who says Uche’s alleged dumping was unceremonious. For all we know, the chic was doing back flips! \u00a0To drive the point home, they have even used this sad-looking picture, which I’m sure is a screen shot from one of Uche’s movies. Walahi, e no go better for you people oo!<\/p>\n

Oh, but wait, there’s more! Uche has “reacted” to this whole saga. She has completely denied ever dating Ikechukwu Uche. My girl! *in Denzel Washington voice*<\/strong> I cannot say that I blame her. I will probably do the same if I were her. In fact, I have done it sef, and I have no regrets. Some people just need to be erased from your history. Sure, 10 years may be a little long to erase, but where there is a will, there is always a way.<\/p>\n
