Haven’t been to\/on Blogville in a while. Since I published the third chapter of Every Woman, I have been tryna respond to emails and all that sort. Anyways, I just wanna thanks to everyone that read Every Woman and commented on it, wrote to me, and\/or called. I really appreciate it. Okay lemme stop being all mushy…it’s unnatural.<\/p>\n

Someone called from U.K and left me a message on my voicemail. I couldn’t call back because there was no call-back number. So my dear U.K. caller, abeg, call me back…or better yet, send me an e-mail. I tend to respond to e-mails a lot faster.<\/p>\n

NaijaDude was sweet enuff to call me the other day too (I think that was on Thursday). The funny thing about the situation is that I was watching a Naija movie with my mom, and I picked the call on speaker phone, so my mother could hear him. At that time, I didn’t even know it was NaijaDude, and then next thing my mom and I were hearing some dude saying, “Vera, I have a crush on you. I love you, Vera, and I want to take you to the moon.” I was laughing so hard, and so was my mom. I was thinking, “who is this psycho now?” LOL. And my mom was probably thinking, “nawa for children of nowadays…”.<\/p>\n

Anyways, when he finally told me it was him, we had a blast talking. Right NaijaDude??? Thanks for calling sha, and trust me, I will be calling you one of these days. Be prepared to be very surprised. I have 2 say that I am really sorry that you personally know that crazy chic, Overwhelmed. It must be really tough being you!<\/p>\n

Another call I feel I should mention is one from a girl\/lady. She was calling to say she loved my story. Maybe I didn’t hear her well, or maybe I misunderstood what she said, but I think she said she didn’t want to send me an email cause she didn’t want her cover to be blown…as in she was an anonymous caller. I repear, I may have misunderstood, but I think that’s what she said. Needless to say, I am still very thankful for that call…and all others, of course.<\/div>\n

Abeg, just in case any1 calls me and I do not pick up, please do leave a message and a call-back number, okay? I have to say that I am not good at returning phone calls promptly…unless the person needs emergency medical assistance. Hehehehehe. Anyways, my point is that if you need a quick response, e-mail might be faster for you…if I don’t pick up your call, of course.<\/div>\n
