So far, I am so proud of the content I have been able to produce through this platform. I had heard before that adoption was expensive, but I assumed that adopting in Nigeria (or at least outside America) would be cheaper because you&#8217;d convert the dollars to the local currency. Nkem&#8217;s story, however, has opened my eyes up to a new reality. You have to listen to find out more.<\/p>\n<p>Let me tell you a little bit about Nkem Akinsoto. She is a public health and research expert and she currently works as a population health program manager with the foremost academic medical center in Seattle, USA. She is also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mynewhitmanwrites.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>a bestselling author and blogger<\/strong><\/a>. Her blog lives at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.romancemeetslife.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Romance Meets Life<\/strong><\/a>. Since 2017, Nkem has mentored youths through an NGO in Nigeria, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.si4dev.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Strategy and Innovation for Development Initiative<\/strong><\/a> as well as co-founding The Spring Development Initiative, a tax-exempt nonprofit in the United States.
