The series continues! Today, we get to meet our official Sweet Potato #2. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, this post is part of a new series on this blog, called Sweet Potato Files<\/strong><\/a>. It is a series in which I am actively getting to know my readers. Or as we like to call them (you) around here, my Sweet Potatoes<\/em>. Last week, we got to know Enyemaka<\/strong><\/a>, and I cannot tell you how happy I am to know her by her name.<\/p>\n

Today, we are getting to know Nkiru, and she’s our official Sweet Potato #2.  <\/p>\n

Sweet Potato #2: Nkiru<\/p><\/div>\n

A little about Nkiru:<\/strong> I am Nkiru, wife to an awesome man and a mother to a three-year-old girl going on 30. Her name is Ginikachi. I started visiting your blog three years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. A friend tagged me to an article you had written(i don’t remember what it was), and I got hooked. I won a purple robe from Vagisil<\/strong><\/a> sometime last year I think.\"\ud83e\udd14\"  Anyway, you are so cool and so down to earth. I love VERASTIC and I like the way your teeth are clenched together when you talk \"\ud83d\ude06\"\"\ud83d\ude06\"\"\ud83d\ude06\" ( I can’t believe I said that!\ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23\ud83e\udd23 ). I try imitating you by talking with my mouth almost closed but I can’t.  <\/p>\n

1)  How long have you been a Sweet Potato? <\/strong> I have been a Sweet Potato since 2014, I can’t remember the month though.<\/div>\n

2)  How did you discover Verastic and why do you keep coming back?<\/strong>   I was introduced to Verastic blog by a friend. Your originality keeps bringing me back. There is absolutely no air of pretense in you.<\/div>\n

3)  What’s your favorite thing about Verastic\/what do you love to read\/see most on Verastic?<\/strong> I love how you talk about ordinary things and events and they seem soooo interesting. I find every topic you talk about interesting.<\/div>\n

Nkiru, you’ve got me all the way messed up. After reading your mail, I started trying to talk with my teeth clenched, and I am unable to do it! I even told Funmie about it, and she said I should go watch some of my videos to see how I talk. I watched the videos, and I don’t see clenched teeth. You’re messing with my head, girl!<\/div>\n

My dear, I appreciate you a whole lot. Thank you so much for being a Sweet Potato, and I hope you’re being sexy in that purple robe. We will be expecting some more Baby Sweet Potatoes. If not, please return our robe.<\/div>\n

But how can you say that you have never, ever eaten noodles? Ahhh! Which kin thing be that? Just like Enyemaka<\/strong><\/a> last week who does not like goat meat. What is wrong with you people? Next thing now, someone will come and say that they don’t eat rice.<\/div>\n
