It was adult underwear, meant for grownups. And I was a grownup. Or so I thought. I think I was in my late teens when I got my first thong. It was purple and made of lace and the string at the back was very thin. Actually, it was called a t-string. I loved that thong&nbsp;(or t-string), and I was heartbroken <a href=\"http:\/\/verastic.com\/personal\/about-first-thong.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>when my aunt threw it away because it was evil<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now that I&#8217;m a &#8220;real&#8221; adult &#8211; with bills and responsibilities and a toddler &#8211; I cannot remember the last time I wore a thong. Do men even still find it sexy? Probably. But these days, I&#8217;m all about comfort. It&#8217;s been so long since I wore a thong that I won&#8217;t be surprised if it has been at least two years. Yup, it&#8217;s been that long.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just like a lot of things in life, you want what you don&#8217;t have. And when you finally get it, you realize that it&#8217;s not all you thought it was going to be. Also, for me, as&nbsp;I have gotten older, my priorities have also shifted. Back then, I was very, very concerned about what my butt looked like in a fitting skirt. The thought of having panty lines was just unimaginable. Now, however, I have taken on a nonchalant&nbsp;&#8211;almost celebratory &#8211; stand where it concerns panty lines. It&#8217;s like I even find it sexy. I don&#8217;t know if I find it sexy because I really do find it sexy, or if I find it sexy because my underwears are lacy and cute and I kind of want you to know. Does this count<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What I know for sure is that I feel about my underwear the same way I feel about my clothes and shoes: comfort&nbsp;is my priority. Of course, when it comes to shoes, I know that high heels can only be so comfortable, but I definitely will not be purchasing shoes that pinch from the go.Does this count<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But back to underwear and speaking about discomfort, how you ever worn cheeksters? &nbsp;Well, I don&#8217;t know their official name, but Victoria&#8217;s Secret calls them cheeksters. They are the worst! They&#8217;re not thongs, and they&#8217;re not full cover underwear either; they&#8217;re in-between regular undwerwear and thongs. They look nice on TV and in magazines,s o I bought a few of them, and I suffered for it. It was like having a thong with generous material stuck between your butt cheeks.
