That Is NOT The Question."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The real question is <em>when<\/em> and <em>how<\/em> to post. So thank you to everyone who has contacted me through many, many ways (e-mails, phone calls, bbms, texts, tweets, FB messages, etc) to encourage me to post the story &#8211; even the international ones. I throway yansh for all of you. I assure you, I&#8217;m working on it. I did not know how much people loved gist till <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/nAYMnO\" target=\"_blank\">my last post<\/a><\/strong>. It almost makes me want to do this again. Okay, maybe not.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The post will go up next week. It&#8217;s taking time because <strong>(a)<\/strong> It&#8217;s not just a regular blog post. It&#8217;s actually a write-up; <strong>(b)<\/strong> I have to fix my personal e-mail address which is associated with my writing. It&#8217;s currently not receiving any mails, so if you&#8217;ve e-mailed me via vera [at] verastic dot com, that e-mail did not come through. Something is eating\/hiding my mails\u00a0<strong>(c)<\/strong> I gave married man an ultimatum, more like a <em>condition<\/em>: apologize or the post goes up. Married man did not apologize. And <strong>(d)<\/strong> Well, I don&#8217;t remember what D was supposed to be, but I&#8217;m almost completely sure that it exists.<\/p>\n<p>I spoke to him, the married man. He called. The first thing he asked was, <em>&#8220;Vera, what is going on?&#8221;<\/em> Of course, he does not know what is going on. This is all news to him. <em>Naturally<\/em>. For the fun of it, I recorded the conversation. It&#8217;s been my comic relief for the past two days. Unfortunately, there&#8217;s no show for <em>America&#8217;s Funniest Audios<\/em>. I&#8217;ll have to do with this for now.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s quite unfortunate that infidelity within marriage is an age-old issue that has never gone, and will clearly never go away. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know if everyone is as afraid as I am of being cheated on, or if I&#8217;m just panicking beyond reason. I don&#8217;t comprehend why I should get married and still have to look over my shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve heard it all: As long as you&#8217;re dealing with human beings, never expect perfection. Or the people you love most are the ones who hurt you most. Or just as God forgives, you have to forgive. Yes, yes, and yes. Still, that does not explain why I must look over my shoulders. Beyond the betrayal, the person being cheated on is humiliated and possibly homicidal. Maybe I&#8217;m just taking Tylenol for someone else&#8217;s headache. I am not married.<\/p>\n<p>I digress.
