Yesssss oooooo! I’m a new age today. 25 to be precise. Of course.<\/p>\n

Thank You, Jesus! Today is a different birthday though. Every year, I usually put up a birthday wish list<\/strong>, although I do it more for entertainment than anything else. But I didn’t even put one up this year. Am I growing up? Or getting old? Nope, I cannot get old. I don’t know yet what I will be doing this year. I know for sure that I’m going to go visit my cousin, Toby, and take him a cake because we share the same birthday. This is why you should not share your birthday with anyone. Below is a picture I took with Toby during “his birthday” trip to a bowling alley in 2012, which was also the year Igwe threw a surprise birthday dinner for me (pictures in the post)<\/a><\/strong>. Come to think of it, \u00a0this was Igwe’s first appearance on Verastic. It was a month after our wedding<\/a><\/strong>, and I had not even given him a name yet. His name was just Him<\/em>. Ha! Can’t believe it’s been four years since we took this picture AND I miss this hairstyle!<\/p>\n

\"Toby<\/p>\n

Toby was supposed to be born in April 2002, but he came three months early on my birthday. His mom is my favorite aunt, Chinelo (mom’s baby sister). He was born at 2.2 pounds, and was in the hospital from January to May. It was such an emotional time for our family because we were desperate for him to live. He had several close calls, but today, he is 14 years old! He already called to tell me that he wants a hoverboard for his birthday. *Insert eye-rolling*<\/strong><\/em> It was his birth that brought my grandma to America. She came to do omugwo. Omugwo isn’t over yet, I guess. Why am I talking about Today when it’s my birthday? Like I said, don’t share your birthday!<\/p>\n

Last year, I went through the trouble of going Downtown Baltimore and having Igwe take a few pictures of me<\/a><\/strong>. The kind of cold wind that blew me that day, I’m still suffering whiplash from it. So no, I did not take pictures this year.<\/p>\n

This is a picture I took two Sundays ago on the way to church. I was feeling myself. It’s the same outfit I wore when Igwe and I took pictures for the wedding post<\/a><\/strong>. I wore it to church only because I wanted to wear these shoes. \u00a0So apart from dropping cake off for Toby, I have no other plans. I am just happy to be here and happy for where I am. I do not have enough words to thank God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is yet to do. I am content.<\/p>\n

That said, I know what I will be getting myself for my birthday: a MacBook! I know that most bloggers use MacBooks, and maybe you even assume that I use one, too, but nope. I have never owned a MacBook. I only own one apple product, which is my third generation iPad, which I do not use anymore and have kept safely for Ada Verastic. Anyway, I’m waiting for the newest generation, which is rumored to be coming out in March or June. \u00a0I won’t bother trying to figure out the date because I’ll have an easier time sneaking into the White House than figuring out the release date of the new MacBook. \u00a0Whatever, I’ll wait.<\/p>\n

While I wait for the MacBook though, it’d be nice to be able to go one day without my bra. Ever since I had Ada Verastic, I’ve been wearing my bra twenty-four-seven because if I don’t, milk will be everywhere. You know I squirt.<\/a><\/strong> And you know how much I hate wearing my bra<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
